This handy tool helps colour consultants determine the lightness or darkness of a colour and the relative Contrast of two or more colours based upon a client’s skin and hair colouring.

Its clearly-defined value levels on a single sliding scale, with peep-through holes at each value level, increase objectivity in the personal colour analysis process and helps consultants to determine a colour’s value accurately.

Use it to determine the value of just about any colour on a sufficiently large surface area such as on clothing and larger accessories (scarfs, shoes, bags, belts, etc.)
